Volunteering in Nepal

Solidarity mission in a Montessori school in Kathmandu

An unforgettable volunteering experience in Nepal

What if you were to go to Nepal and experience an extraordinary human and solidarity adventure?
Helping Hands is offering you the chance to join a voluntary mission in a Montessori school nestling in the heart of the Kathmandu valley. You'll share the day-to-day life of a committed educational team, put your energy into helping underprivileged children, and discover a country of incredible cultural and spiritual richness.

👉 An immersion in solidarity that makes sense, far beyond traditional tourism.

Baal Shiksha Udhyan: a local school, a project with a heart

Baal Shiksha Udhyan is a school founded by Shankar Dahal, a passionate educator who is convinced that every child deserves access to a caring, quality education. Inspired by Montessori principles, the school welcomes children from modest families and offers them a humane learning environment that respects their individual pace.

Despite a limited budget, the school shines thanks to its warm atmosphere, its teaching methods focused on autonomy and creativity, and the determination of the entire team to build a better future for these children.

"Your presence gives the children a chance to open up to the world, and gives us the energy to keep going."
- Shankar Dahal, founder of the school
