✨ Introduction
At Helping Hands, we know that educational projects are constantly evolving. Needs, opportunities, and on-the-ground realities change — and we adapt our support accordingly.
This is the case for Roja, whose initial plans to study in France have been adjusted to ensure she can take this step under better conditions.
Today, we're sharing complete news on three important situations:
Roja, whose project is taking a new direction
Rojesh, who is advancing to a science high school
Two young children, who arrived last October, whom we are accompanying with the help of our local partner Ammar.

🎓 Roja: a carefully considered new path
Roja's dream was to pursue higher education in France. After several discussions and a realistic assessment of her situation, we agreed to postpone this project.
Roja's dream was to pursue higher education in France. After several discussions and a realistic look at her situation, we agreed to postpone this project so she can prepare under the best possible conditions.
However, her result in the final high school exam in Kathmandu — the equivalent of the baccalaureate — is a testament to her abilities. With 3.15 out of 4, she ranks among the top students, a score that reflects her dedication and commitment.
Roja will begin a university course in Kathmandu. Her first choice is a degree in biology, with prospects in teaching, research, or public health. She also remains open to other promising opportunities in Nepal:
Management 📊
Biotechnology 🧬
- Sustainable Environmental Science 🌱
🌱
Roja prefers a public university to keep costs down and focus her budget on books, equipment, and daily expenses.
We have set a timeframe of three years to evaluate her academic and language progress, and to reconsider the possibility of coming to France.

🔬 Rojesh: focus on science
Rojesh has recently enrolled in a science-focused high school, paving the way for future studies in medicine, engineering, or research.
School fees, transportation, meals, and textbooks are a major challenge. We are awaiting the final administrative and school confirmations before providing full support.
📩 Message from Rojesh:
"My college is going well. How are you? Regarding my bill, more details still need to be clarified, and most of the books haven’t arrived yet."
This message reflects both his enthusiasm and the logistical challenges, such as delays in receiving the textbooks. We are closely monitoring the situation to provide effective support.
👧👦 The two youngest: a new start full of hope
