The story of the school and Zoeline ✨
The project came about thanks to a group of young local teachersof which Zoelineour direct contact. They found that too many children were left to fend for themselves, without schooling or regular meals.
Driven by the conviction that every child deserves a chanceThey opened a very simple classroom. Little by little, families joined the initiative. In order to be able to receive donations transparently, they founded a local association which now runs the Lovasoa school.
👉 Their mission is not limited to teaching. They also want to fighting hunger. In this region of Madagascar, providing education means first and foremost a hot meal every day.
Since 2015, Helping Hands supports a number of educational projects. After building a classroom in Limbauan 🇵🇭 and distributing school supplies in Nepal 🇳🇵, the association is now committed to strengthening Lovasoa.

🍲 Co-finance the school canteen
Every morning, children arrive with empty stomachs. It's impossible to learn without food. Co-financing the Lovasoa Antsirabé schoolis to guarantee a balanced meal every day. This support improves health and concentration and reduces absenteeism.
👩🏫 Supporting teachers' salaries
The teachers at Lovasoa are totally dedicated to their pupils. Yet their salaries are still inadequate. Helping them means ensure educational continuity and maintain a motivated, stable team.
📚 Provide notebooks and school supplies
School supplies are in short supply. Notebooks, pens, slates, textbooks: it's all too expensive for families. With just a few euros, it is possible to equip a child for an entire school year.
Towards self-sufficiency thanks to the henhouse and vegetable garden 🌿🐔
The Lovasoa school is not content to simply receive aid. It is preparing to become self-sufficient. Two structuring projects are underway:
a chicken coop 🐔 to produce eggs and poultry,
a educational vegetable garden 🌱 to grow vegetables and fruit.
These initiatives reduce food costs and provide children with useful skills for their future.
