Financial transparency
Our commitment to trust
At Helping Hands, transparency is an essential value.
Since our creation in 2015, we have acted with rigour, clarity and sincerity to ensure that every donation has a real and measurable impact.
Our mission: to turn generosity into concrete action for children in Nepal, the Philippines and Madagascar.
We're a small association, but our actions speak for themselves.
Each project is monitored, documented and shared, because the trust of our donors is our greatest driving force.
🤝 A small team, high ethical standards
Helping Hands is a not-for-profit organisation run exclusively by volunteers.
We have no employees, no offices, no unnecessary expenses: everything is put at the service of the children.
The funds raised are used directly to finance projects on the ground.
For us, transparency is not a formality: it's a moral commitment to every donor.
Our operations are based on three pillars:
- Clarity - each expense is identified and justified.
- Simplicity - projects are managed with common sense and proximity.
- Consistency - decisions respect our values and the real needs on the ground.
Where do your donations go?
Every contribution, however modest, becomes direct aid.
We ensure that as much of the funding as possible is allocated to projects, not to the structure.
| Field of action | Concrete examples | Impact |
|---|---|---|
| 🍚 Nutrition | School canteen in Antsirabé, balanced meals for children | Improved health and concentration |
| 📘 Education | Supplies, uniforms, school fees and examinations | Sustainable access to school |
| 🏫 Infrastructure | Renovation work, solar kits | Better learning conditions |
| 🧼 Hygiene & health | Distribution of hygiene and drinking water kits | Disease prevention |
| 🌍 Coordination & monitoring | Communication, transfers, monitoring local partners | Transparency and efficiency |
No volunteers are paid: every euro is used for concrete actions on the ground.
🇲🇬 In Madagascar: feeding, educating and supporting
In Antsirabé, we have been supporting the Lovasoa school for several years.
Thanks to your donations, children benefit from :
- a full meal every day,
- regular educational support,
- hygiene and comfort.
Our priorities:
- Keeping the school canteen open all year round.
- Provide hygiene kits (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste).
- Supporting teachers and basic equipment needs.
- Helping the school to become self-sufficient thanks to a henhouse and a future vegetable garden.
Each expense is validated with the school management, and invoices are checked and archived.
🇵🇭 In the Philippines: building and protecting
In Limbauan, in the province of Isabela, we are helping to co-finance a classroom for a rural school.
Our local contact, Luigi, mobilises the necessary support on the ground and sends us follow-up information.
We also organised a shoe distribution for the village children.
In some regions, pupils walk several kilometres barefoot to school.
This simple gesture reinforces their safety, dignity and motivation.
Photos, videos and testimonials accompany each stage of the project.
No volunteers are paid: every euro is used for concrete actions on the ground.
🇳🇵 In Nepal: monitoring children over the long term
In Kathmandu, Helping Hands supports three young people - Roja, Rojesh and Aswin - by funding their education and basic needs:
tuition fees, exams, books, supplies, travel.
We work directly with their families and guardians.
Each year, personalised monitoring ensures continuity of studies and measures progress.
This human contact is the key to our action: it guarantees that every donation is put to practical, verifiable use.
📄 Simple, accessible transparency
Helping Hands does not publish complex “financial statements”: our projects and resources do not require this.
But we keep clear accounts, where every donation is recorded, traced and justified.
On request, we can share :
- receipts and proof of our actions,
- proof of transfer to our local relays,
- and field photos corresponding to the projects funded.
📬 Contact : contact@helpinghandsfr.org
We respond personally to every request.
🌱 Rigorous management and ethical partnerships
Our approach is sober but rigorous:
- No unnecessary expenses: administrative costs reduced to a strict minimum.
- Identified partners: only known and verified local relays.
- Ongoing monitoring: each project is documented and reported to donors.
- Full traceability: we know where every euro goes and who benefits from it.
We are gradually strengthening our ethical partnerships with CSR companies and local foundations to ensure the sustainability of our actions.
💬 Why transparency is our priority
Because trust can't be decreed - it has to be proven.
Our donors deserve to know how their support translates into concrete action on the ground.
Each project is visible, measurable and documented.
This approach creates a virtuous circle :
more trust → more donations → more impact → more transparency.
📣 Follow our actions and stay informed
Helping Hands regularly shares news :
- on Facebook and Instagram, with photos from the field,
- on LinkedIn, for companies and solidarity partners,
- and via our newsletter, to keep our donors informed of every step forward.
💚 To sum up
Helping Hands is an independent and sincere association, driven by the conviction that generosity transforms the world.
Our transparency is our way of thanking you for the trust you place in us.
Every donation, large or small, helps to build a better future for the children we support.
Thank you for believing, with us, that acting with heart and transparency is already changing the world. 🌍💫
