A solution to combat drought

The village of Samzong, in the Mustang district, is facing a shortage of drinking water due to drought and a lack of infrastructure.

Project objectives

The aim of the project is to ensure a sustainable supply of drinking water for local residents by installing rainwater harvesting systems, reservoirs, pipes and solar pumps.

Actions planned

Key milestones include the installation of rainwater collection systems, the construction of piping infrastructure and reservoirs, and the integration of solar pumps to ensure a constant water supply. Community awareness campaigns will complement these actions.

Estimated budget

A total of €10,000 is required to complete this vital project, which will provide a sustainable response to the community's drinking water needs.
