Success Stories - Roja and Rojesh
First meeting with Roja and Rojesh - November 2015
Roja, Heroine of Resilience
A path to higher medical studies and the hope of a new life
Since 2015, Roja has embodied an exceptional journey, that of a heroine forged by hardship and driven by an ambitious dream. Born into a very poor family in Kathmandu, she grew up in extremely precarious conditions. Her father, severely disabled by illness, was never able to provide for the family, and her courageous mother spends her days selling spectacles on the pavements of the capital to make ends meet. Against this backdrop of daily struggle, Roja learnt early on the value of every opportunity and the strength of perseverance.
Rojesh, a Future Under Construction
Rojesh is moving confidently towards a promising future thanks to your support.
Roja's younger brother, Rojesh, is another exemplary figure of self-sacrifice and resilience in a family marked by hardship. Rojesh grew up in extremely precarious conditions, with a father weakened by illness and a courageous mother who sells glasses on the pavements of Kathmandu to feed her family. Despite this precarious situation, Rojesh, like his sister, chose to overcome the obstacles and build a brighter future. At his young age, he is already top of his class, an achievement that testifies to his discipline, rigour and exceptional potential.
A new chapter: sponsoring Aswin and Aswini
We are sponsoring two new children, Aswin and Aswini, who lost their homes in the floods at the end of September 2024. Without housing or resources, they were unable to continue their education. Thanks to Ammar's support, we are financing their enrolment in a public school and guaranteeing them adequate food. Your donation, however small, will help Aswin, Aswini and other children in difficulty to find a promising future. Thank you for your generosity!
