Welcome to thechildren's humanitarian association from Helping Handsan organisation founded after the earthquake of 25 April 2015 in Nepal by Luciana La Marca, listed artist Akoun and sworn translator.

This blog retraces our commitment to the most vulnerable children  These are the people who live in remote villages, with no access to education, health or protection.
Through personal accounts, reports and portraits of children, this blog invites you to discover our projects, our values and the concrete actions we take on a daily basis.

🏔️ Our beginnings in Nepal: a blog committed to forgotten children

Our first missions took place in Thanapatia village in the Nepalese mountains.
With the help of Bashudev ThapaliyaDuring the year, we provided shelter, clothing and food to families in need.
We very quickly focused our efforts on education: scholarshipstutoring, one-to-one support.

Today, our action extends far beyond Nepal.
We work with children in very precarious situations at Philippinesat Timor-Leste and with Afghan refugee families.

🎨 Art in the service of solidarity

Luciana La Marca is putting her talent as an artist at the service of humanitarian causes.
His original watercolours are sold or exhibited in aid of the children we support.
Each work is a concrete gesture to finance meals, school equipment or school enrolment.
