Roja and Rojesh

1. Essential follow-up for our two godchildren

From 10 yearswe support Roja and Rojesh in their school careers. This year, thanks to the presence ofEmmanuelthis humanitarian mission in Nepal took on an even greater dimension. Together, we met their teachers and took the time to assess their progress.

Rojesh, a brilliant student with great potential

The headmaster of his school gave us some excellent news: Rojesh is top of his class. Thanks to his outstanding results, he will be able to continue the studies of your choice. It was a particularly moving moment for Emmanuel and Ibecause we've realised the extent to which our commitment changes lives.

Roja and her dream of studying in France

From his side, Roja tells us about her dream of studying in France. To help her in this process, we have registered her with l'Alliance Française de Katmandou so that she can start learning French.

Thanks to your support, she can pursue her dream of a better future through education. Because a notebook can sometimes change a life.

At the same time, as soon as we got back to France, I took the necessary steps to ensure that she could go to university. Roja will have to take a DUEF (University Diploma in French Studies) at the University of Caen. This programme will enable her to reach level B2, which is essential if she is to continue her higher education studies.

2. A demanding but essential visit to the Shree Amar school

During this humanitarian mission in Nepal, Emmanuel also had a powerful experience when she travelled to Shree Amar School with Bashudev Thapaliya. However, the visit did not go smoothly. Because of the heavy floodingThey had to walk for several hours on unstable ground. It was a real challengeBut Emmanuel insisted on going all the way to see the children's learning conditions for himself.

After several hours walking through flooded terrain, a computer was handed over to the Shree Amar school. A small step for us, a big step for children's learning. ✨

Finally, after that long walk, Emmanuel was able to hand over a laptop to the headmaster. He had brought this equipment from France specifically to improve the learning of the pupils. It was a particularly powerful moment, because it was the first time that such a large donation had been made directly on site.

At the Shree Amar school, a computer has been given directly to educational staff and pupils to support digital learning in a remote area of Nepal. Because every tool counts when it comes to opening a window on the world. 📷 #ÉducationPourTous #HelpingHands #Népal #Solidarité #AccèsAuNumérique

3. The urgent need for new sponsorships after the floods

During this humanitarian mission in NepalWe also found Ammar Raj Guniour local partner. He informed us of an alarming situation: two children have lost their homes to flooding. Faced with this disaster, we immediately decided to set up a sponsorship programme. Thanks to the presence of EmmanuelWe were able to discuss possible solutions in detail with the families concerned.
